I would like to know whether your organisation is incurring any kind of loss due such employee attitude/behaviour?
Please remember, there is something called PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE applicable at WORKPLACE, irrespective of the problems associated with PERSONAL LIFE as we are paid for specific task/assignments. No organisation will entertain those employees whose ATTITUDE doesn't match with ORGANISATION's WORK CULTURE/ETHICS and lot more. Also, you will find a specific group/category of employees, whose attitude will never change, whatsoever training/treatment/therapy they may undergo. Its very difficult to handle such individuals.
I would suggest that, your management should take a stubborn decision
1)To terminate employees whose attitude/behaviour is creating issues/problems @ workplace(spoiling work culture)
2) Recruit employees with POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE. Its a tedious process but still not is impossible.

I had the previlege of going through all the comments. Well different people view based on their perspective.One GOOD COMMENT WAS ABOUT ORGANISATION AL CULTURE AND ETHICS.WE CAN LOOK AT ATTITUDE FROM THAT ANGLE.Well,if that is alright,people can change their attitude only fron INSIDE-OUT APPROACH.other tecniques can at best be catalysts.OK>what is attitude?It is based on their beleif system which is based on their perception.BELIEVE ME MOST OF THEIR ATTITUDE ,MAY BE,is thru theitr sub-conscious mind which they are not even aware of.So everything should start from thinking level thru creation of positive thoughts.Again, they can change their thoughts from those who they TRUST.We should touch them emotionally.Know the reson and motivate them.As a sample give them a series of questionnaire on attitude on a scale of 1t05.See the result

1. conduct one to one interation session and find out their problems
2. identify the problem creators and keep grid (aviod intractions with others) and keep them in isolation
3. keep focus on canteen area and other intraction flatforms to know the actual and real feed back with trusted and fair people'
4. Before training you have to roll out scinetific questionair where you can measure their positive/negative attitude towards the company or any individual or HODs (Important)
5. try to divide the support group
6. If available take the help of CSR AND IR members help
7. review the issue from other side to know the actual fact
Thanks for all the help, well I am was checking to see if we can do employee screenings before gettting them on board.
By searching the net, I came across someting like corporate wellness programs, psychological, emotional wellness for the employee.
I dont know if we need to get into pre job employee screenings when the interview is done ? or what happens if the employee gets an atitude issue after joining, maybe after a bad day @ work or may be after a bad decision from the manager or another collegue/employee ?
End of the day who is goging to pay for all these if the project is jeopardized.
I am not sure how the PPT trainings in the broadrooms will help to sort employee inter office employee/manager conflit issues arises.
Still finding a way out for these from all the sources, will keep posted...
