Escalator Safety Awareness
Nowadays, most shopping malls, restaurants, and theaters are built with escalators due to technological advancements. When we visit such places with our family, especially with our kids, they often start playing on the escalator. Anyone who knows how dangerous this can be should take precautions. See the attached picture; it's not just happening in India, but there is a chance it could happen to us. Take care of yourself and your family, especially your kids.
Prevention is better than cure. Keep on sharing.

This happened at Delhi airport 5 years ago. The child, a daughter of an NRI visiting India, died in the accident. Adding to the fact that most mall security is not trained to handle this, it's a recipe for disaster if parents are not careful. Unfortunately, most parents think it's fun to watch kids play like that.

Thank you so much for sharing the information. Yes, it's true that all our Indian parents who visit such places very often should know and be aware of it. Sometimes funny things can lead to dangerous situations.

Thank you for sharing this alert! We need to be very careful while visiting these public places, particularly when we are with kids. Some time back, a child of about 6 years old fell to their death in Garuda Mall, Bangalore. We need to be watchful!

Thanks for the awareness. I once saw a similar accident, but the victim was saved. It was an old lady who was not used to escalators but was forced by the family to use it in a mall. They said it was easy, but as soon as she climbed on, she was standing on the edge of the moving stairs and was about to fall. Luckily, she was saved by another man who held her. Fortunately, otherwise, it would have been disastrous!
