Dear Folks,

I need to file a complaint against one of the clerical staff members who is responsible for handling our PF claim settlement at the PF office. The clerk consistently fails to process our claims in a timely manner and rejects them without valid reasons, often providing baseless justifications. Despite our efforts to address these issues, he continues to delay the processing of our claims.

Please advise me on how to proceed and whom I should contact regarding this matter at the PF office. Your guidance on the next steps would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Madhan

Dear Friend,

First of all, kindly make friendship or establish a smooth relationship with him. It always helps you (Ayutha pooja gift, Deepavali sweet, New year diary, calendar, Pongal gifts, etc.). This is one way to build a relationship or friendship. Try this approach.

Dear Madhan,

Few regional offices of PF have developed, and a few are still creating problems like that only. Noida Regional Office is also one of them, and we also face the same problem sometimes because they need a bribe for withdrawal. Last time, I called the clerk in front of RPFC and told him to behave properly; otherwise, we will take up this matter with higher authorities. Then he became alright.

Subject: Re: Complaint against PF

Mr. Madhan.rk,

Before raising the complaint against the PF clerk, you should check whether you have filled the claim/form properly or not. Are you eligible for what you are asking from them? Check on what grounds he is rejecting your claims/forms. If you are okay with everything, then raise an RTI. It costs just Rs. 10/- and forward it to the PF commissioner, asking for an explanation why your claim was turned down by the dealing clerk. It may take 45 days in the whole process, but I assure you that you will get the best result from this. And whenever you encounter the same problem in the future, raise an RTI and get the reply. It will help you a lot.

All the best,
Manmohan

Subject: Complaint against PF

Mr. Madhan.rk,

Please note that it is the duty of the clerk to raise objections on claims/forms. A good clerk is one who raises objections on the correct claim/form. Before lodging a complaint against the PF clerk, please ensure that you have filled out the claim/form properly. Are you eligible for what you are requesting from them? Verify the grounds on which he is rejecting your claims/forms. If you are satisfied with everything, then file an RTI. It costs just Rs. 10/- and send it to the PF commissioner, requesting an explanation for why your claim was rejected by the dealing clerk. The entire process may take up to 45 days, but I assure you that you will get the best results from this. In case you encounter a similar problem in the future, raise an RTI and obtain a response. It will greatly assist you.

All the best,
Manmohan

Dear Member,

I hope that you have forwarded your claim papers with all necessary enclosures for settlement and have received the acknowledgment for the same. Using the acknowledgment reference, check your claim status online if your claim submission has exceeded 45 days. If so, file a grievance petition with the Lok Adalat Committee along with an acknowledgment proof.

Thank you.

Dear Sir,

I have a big concern to clarify, and I'm sure you'll be the best person I can approach. I worked for a Chennai-based company, and my workplace was in Hyderabad. I've resigned from the job following the company's procedure. I was told by the HR that my PF will be settled in 45 days. Now they're giving me numerous reasons, saying that they have forwarded my papers to the PF office in Chennai, but they're not providing me with an acknowledgement number for my reference. They're just making excuses that the PF Office in Chennai is delaying the process.

I want to know if the Chennai PF office is really delaying the process. And where should I approach to settle this issue as soon as possible? I'd request you to please help me in this regard.

Hi,

Last time, I worked with Serco in Mohali. I applied for my PF in June 2014, but they told me that they needed a bank statement. Initially, I provided a blank cheque. In November, I reapplied, and on February 13th, I received the document, only to find that it was blank. I will have to apply again, and it will take another three months because the PF is issued from Mumbai, not Punjab. Could you please provide me with the best way to address this issue or where I can file a complaint regarding this matter?

Thank you.

Greetings,

I am an ex-employee of Make My Trip. My PF number is DSNHP/0023754//000/0003828. My mobile number is 9029565665.

In my passbook, the amount showing in employer contribution is 33584, and the employee share is 15741. However, I have only received 11400. Why is this the case? Will I receive the remaining amount? Any idea if they deduct TDS before sending the payment?

The status for Member ID DSNHP00237540000003828 is still under process.

Claim ID: DSNHP151000003797
Status: Claim Form 10C for Withdrawal Benefit against Member Account No (DSNHP00237540000003828) has been approved. Payment is under process.

Claim ID: DSNHP151000003796
Status: Claim Form 19 for PF Settlement against Member Account No (DSNHP00237540000003828) has been approved. Payment is under process.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you.
