What are the general rules and restrictions for advance against salary?

There is no specific rule or policy regarding the provision of a salary advance. It is solely at the discretion of the company, as per the established rules. Many companies do not permit any salary advances within the first 15 days of salary disbursement. However, exceptions can be considered on a case-by-case basis. For instance, if an employee requests an advance due to a sudden unexpected event, how should we proceed?
