Request you clear the cache in your computer incase any such problem persists. These steps , that we share, would take you from one window to another. Please keep typing as shared below, in each windows that open sequentially.

- Go to Start
- On the search space, Type Run
- Type CMD
- Type Ipconfig /flushdns
- Press enter

Yesterday evening onwards, I am facing the same problem. At present, my user id boss2966 got blocked and I am unable to check the threads in which I have commented.
My Yahoo id (boss2966 @ yahoo . com) also got hacked and I am not opening the ID. I want to change the mail id to boss2966 @ gmail . com or boss2966 @ rediffmail . com.
I need your help to resolve the issue.

Even i faced same problem with the correct password I was not able to log in, then i clicked on forgot password and again resetted password irrespective of me knowing the correct password.
After resetting password, it got ok.... i also thought someone hacked my ID

Even I was facing the same problem today when I was trying to log in.Finally was able to log in after using the new p/w given to me. I changed that to my old p/w later but my user id has also been changed. Please tell me how do I change to my older user id.

I would like to clarify that previously I was using a login id indranimukherjee.mba about 3 yrs back but at that time I was not active in this site.Later 3 months back I created a new user id for myself indrani_ibs(you can check that in the new user id I have already made 35 posts).Today morning I am unable to log in with my indrani_ibs user id. When I clicked on the forgot p/w button, I was sent a new p/w for indranimukherjee.mba id(which I no more use). Please please help me out to retrieve my p/w for user id indrani_ibs which is my new user id and which I always use nowadays. Waiting for positive reply from your end.

Hi, even i faced the same problem today when i tried to login it did not allow me it said the password was wrong whereas i’d entered the correct password.. i reset the password and logged in..

Thanks for this TIMELY thread and the trouble-shooting information herein.
I too faced the problem today (I had not logged in yesterday); and resolved it like others - by resorting to FORGOT PASSWORD option.
I hope, this problem shall not crop up again in future.
