Dear All,

Good Day!

I am Elizabeth Antony. We would like to start providing ESI and PF for our staff. Our IT company was recently established in 2007. We have registered our company as a private limited (PVT LTD) company.

Kindly help guide me in this field. Please update me on the ESI and PF rules for an IT PVT LTD company and what the salary limit is for ESI and PF.

Thanks and Regards,

Elizabeth Antony

The ESIC limit is Rs. 15,000. If any employee is receiving a gross salary of Rs. 15,000, you must deduct an ESIC contribution of 1.75% on the gross amount. For PF, you can set the limit at Rs. 6,500 and deduct 12% on this amount. However, the PF contribution can vary depending on the conveyance amount, but there is no specific limit for PF.
