You can use the attached format for maintaining the record of PPE issued. Open a register and dedicate one page for each worker.

Dear Mr. Dipil,

The format is very good. The only suggestion is - if we are going to allocate one page per employee, the employee's name can be placed at the top of the page instead of in the 2nd column.

Hi,

In my only 6 months of experience as an HR Assistant, I have had responsibilities for Expatriates, National Employees' Attendance, and collecting monthly timesheets. I have also been in charge of updating the Organization Chart, inputting any changes to employee information, managing leave for Expatriates and National Employees, calculating salaries (including OT, Meal Allowance, Transportation Allowance) for National Employees, calculating salaries for Contracted Employees, assisting with the Monthly Manpower list for the Head Office, conducting Performance Evaluations for National Employees, and calculating Annual Bonuses based on their PE. Currently, I am preparing for the Annual salary increase proposal, which involves a lot of calculations and Excel work.

Apart from these duties mentioned in my job description, I am also required to assist in recruiting National Employees, conducting orientations for new employees, ensuring compliance with local laws and legislation, and handling many other tasks. Additionally, when my HR Manager is out of the office, I take on even more responsibilities.

I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow in my role as an HR Assistant.

Thank you.

Dear Meenu, It’s full form is Personal Protective Equipment(PPE). It’s required for the company to know about the employee. Best, Musheer

Hi,

Most of the information in the company is confidential, but the OT rate is simple. We have OT1 and OT2. OT1 means weekday overtime, OT2 means weekend and holiday overtime.

[R= frac{(Monthly Basic Salary times 12)}{365}]
Regular work hours/day (8)
OT1= time worked in excess of 8 hrs on a regular work day (depends on Company Policy% x R)
OT2= time worked on weekends, holidays (depends on Company Policy% x R)

Trip Allowance is simple too. The daily trip allowance is just following the company policy (how much per day) except for accommodation, traveling charges, entertainment charges, and no bill expenses, etc.

Meal Allowance is also straightforward but needs to follow the company's procedure. Here, even different calculations for Expats and Nationals apply.

Performance Evaluation is based on the department Manager and HR judgment, which can increase their salary and also determine training requirements.

I am sorry that I cannot share our forms, even though we have many forms here. Trip Form, Leave Form, Timesheet forms, Performance Evaluation Form, etc. However, you can develop these forms from your own ideas.

Hi Meenu,

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) refers to specialized clothing or equipment worn by employees for protection against health and safety hazards. Personal protective equipment is designed to protect many parts of the body, i.e., eyes, head, face, hands, feet, and ears.

Hi Meenu,

PPE is exclusively used for the safety of an employee working in an organization. It is the basic rule of the company that it has to issue a few safety equipment or products to protect the worker in the work atmosphere.

For example, a welder has to be given heat-resistant goggles, gloves, and shoes in order to protect himself against the heat emitted during his operation.

I would like to mention a normal safety practice that is followed in our factory. Our factory deals with fabricated steel and aluminum parts. There are chances that small particles of these would be dissolved in the atmosphere due to cutting and sawing. Due to this, we tend to issue safety goggles to all the visitors/customers who visit our factory premises. We have ensured a strict order regarding it. This is because safety is not only meant for our employees but for all those who are associated with us.

It's always better to take precautions rather than regretting over it later.

Best Regards,

Maria J

Dear Mennu Mathew,

Personal protective equipment, or PPE, is designed to protect workers from serious workplace injuries or illnesses resulting from contact with chemical, radiological, physical, electrical, mechanical, or other workplace hazards. Besides face shields, safety glasses, hard hats, and safety shoes, protective equipment includes a variety of devices and garments such as goggles, coveralls, gloves, vests, earplugs, and respirators.

Using personal protective equipment is often essential, but it is generally the last line of defense after engineering controls, work practices, and administrative controls. For use in industrial workplaces, please find attached useful information on PPE selection.
