Hi,

Thank you, sir, for the nice presentations you have given. I have cleared my doubts regarding the HR role. Could you provide suggestions regarding HR interview questions? I am currently preparing for interviews and looking for an HR job. Can you provide a few sample questions related to domain knowledge? For example, what type of questions might be asked in an interview about performance appraisal, training, assessment, and SHRM?

If possible, could you also send materials related to these topics to my email: sailu.pr07@gmail.com

Thank you,
Sailu

The PowerPoint material was good, but for the bookish language, you should make the points. It was descriptive; use simple colors for the background (black & white) or according to the topic. Add creativity in the PowerPoint presentation.

Hi Barkha,

Excellent and thought-provoking! Often apportioning costs, profits, revenues, topline, bottom line, and gross-net margins to non-billable resources is a significant challenge. Even a maze of calculations and extrapolations may not yield accurate figures or estimates at times.

We may benefit from including an element of 'Institution Building' in the role of HR that is all-encompassing in business, i.e., one that makes an organization immortal. HR makes a huge contribution to this aspect, focusing on the non-materialistic human element.

Dear Member,

I am working in an engineering company where we manufacture capital equipment. We are planning to organize a four-day workshop for the marketing team, and my Vice President has requested me to give a presentation on how HR can contribute to creating a positive culture and increasing the productivity of all employees, especially the marketing team.

In short, I would like guidance on the type of presentation I should deliver. If you have a PowerPoint presentation available, kindly forward it to me so that I can make any necessary modifications and deliver the presentation effectively.

Please assist me with this matter.

Regards,
Dev

Hi Barkha,

This is really a very good presentation. The best part is that instead of getting into theory, you have tried to link HR to business objectives, and this is something that most people miss. A good effort!
