Understanding Workforce and Manpower

The workforce relates specifically to the labor class, which mostly involves physical work rather than mental work.

Manpower encompasses all types of work, including physical and mental tasks, with a more specific focus on executive work and labor tasks.

I work now as a senior personnel officer in a very reputable company. As the seniors are nominated for a higher level, I am a nominee to be an HR assistant. I need to study this kind of plan in advance. When I searched this web, I found valuable information about manpower planning. However, I need the differences between manpower and workforce plans to recognize the context of each plan clearly.

Thank you very much & have a nice day too.
