Hey leena,
Hope you are fine there. Well as far your querry about GPHR is concerned, taking the same exam always depends on your work experience and the kind of sector you want to be in or you are in. More over it would more related to topics like expatriate compensation, multicultural teams, etc, more of which would definitely be mentioned in the syllabus. If you have work-ex of more than 5 years in software or BPO, I would rather suggest you to think obout taking it. It might be useful. As far as other certifications are concerned, let me google out the same. Am also looking for some further certifications. Probably from some foreign university. In case you come to know any , please share with me.
HOPE IT HELPS.
Regards,
Santosh Verma.

Your replies will be appreciated and valuable.

Hi Team
I just want to give few inputs on this, I hear that PHR and SPHR is more prone to US related knowledge especially on the labour laws perspective, on the contrary GPHR is more from global perspective but however they have set some eligible criteria to enroll into each of those certification exams,
From a learning perspective, I guess all three certification will reassure your confidence on the subject, however from Indian perspective though it is considered as a value added knowledge, I have never seen any Indian organisation prescribing it as pre-requisite qualification where as in US, I do see organisation setting it as a criteria for selecting HR personnel and some of the organisation do encourage their internal professionals to get certified.

HI !
I have trying to seat for the PHR examination conducted by SHRM/HRCI but having difficulty in selecting test centre as it is not available in Bnagladesh. I have done some research on the values of these certfication. To undeerstand the value you can compare these certfications as CA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA is for the professional accountants , CIM Chartered Marketers for the Marketer and PHR/GPHR is for professional cetfied HR professionals.
I have found that SHRM has opened an office in India, do you know the examination facilities ?
Thanks ...
