Hello Everyone,
I am new to the Recruitment Department. Recently we selected a candidate, I need to verify his documents.
I am not very sure about his salary slip, can somebody please take a notice on the attached file, and let me know whether it seems real or fake.
(I changed names for the sake of confidentiality)
Any response would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello,
I agrre with coolchini and additional to that how they are not decting PT, there is no sign and seal. Ask him for an hard copy with authorized signatory or proof of payment through bank, cheque etc or call up on given information and also demand demand him for all original documnets (Appt Letter, Offer Letter, Last three months payslip etc)

Dear daraksharma,
All companies donot follow a standard format of issuing salary slips. There are some companies who donot issue salary slips to its employees at all. Some issue it on demand. It all depends upon the size and functioning of the company. Small companies with few employees (less than 100 or so) do not follow such rules compared to big companies employing hundreds or thousands.
The authentication of the salary slip can only be confirmed by doing a verification check with the candidate's previous employer.
There are some companies who employ resident executives in different cities and issue salary slips by mail in excel formats.
However, you can check his salary from the copy of the appointment letter furnished by him.

Dear DarakSharma,
It seems to be fake, but in India, many of the organizations do not provide salary slip. Just verify whether his previous employer was in practice to provide salary slip or not ? If not, what can an employee do if you ask him to provide salary slip ? Though one should always speak the truth to the present employer instead of making false slip. However, to be a genuine slip it should have deduction like PF, ESI and other deduction applicable to State wise. Even, if we assume it has been provided by his previous employer, it is not genuine, it is 100% incorrect.

Aditi Technologies is a big company and it will not issue such a stupid salary slip.
this is a fake one for sure.It must contain a proper company's logo and signatures. And salary slips are never given on an excel sheet. Not even by small companies.IT IS FAKE.

Hi friends,
It is better to ask him to submit Form 16 of last year along with the IT returns. It is an authentic one and we used to do the same or in any big organization the salaries are going to be deposited in the bank directly hence you can also ask for the bank statement for the last 6 months.
Thanks and regards - kamesh
