Hi Maya,
I am so glad that you are thinking out of the box of 'Charity' as many companies, see this as a one time activity for their own benefit. Here are some of my thoughts
- You could adopt a child's education upto certain number of years such as sponsoring upto primary school, only high school and so on.
- If they are good at extra curricular activities such as sports, music, dance, art etc....you could sponsor/ teach/organise a teacher. This is one area where they do not have funds apart from their curricular.
- Meet them regularly and organise fun activities
- Organise painting,poster making programmes / competitions which can be used as a cover page / poster for your company (If you want to)
- Teaching aids for the Centre
- Film screening (Non Commercial, but children's movies)
- A Trip / picnic with them
- Somewhere if you could make them feel that 'They are Special' than 'Being Deprived of something'
- Celebrate Diwali, Holi, Christmas or some Games with them

It is really good to listen from you that implementation of CSR Activity with Charity which will yield good results in the minds and hearts of the public about the organisation.
As advised by Divya you can sponsor some teacher on contract basis (The teacher will work in School and you will make the payment for that teacher) or you can send some of your employees to take Spoken English Classes for those students of 6th, 7th & 8th Standard. (9th and 10th Standard students will be concentrating on their public exams)
You can organise some summer coaching classes for those area school students.
You can regularly organise dental / Eye / medical check-up Camp in the village especially covering the students of your identified school on regular intervals.
You can organise First Aid Training and Fire Fighting Training programmes for the villagers who can come forward for the needy hours on regular basis.
Please discuss these subject with your management and take a decision, so that your efforts should not go in vain. Before organising try to include all the departments in your organisation so that their active involvement will fetch more results.
