Hi,
My name is Anil Dhankar, and I'm running my mobile shop at Sunariya Chowk in Rohtak. First of all, I would like to register my shop under Haryana government policies. Recently, I have heard an announcement by the Haryana Government for shopkeepers. If anyone wants to open their shop on Sunday, they would have to pay some additional tax on an annual basis. Kindly let me know the procedure to register my shop and to open on Sunday as well.
Thanks and regards,
Anil Dhankar

Dear Anil,
The Government of Haryana has issued a notification dated 5th Nov., 2009, according to which all shopkeepers will be eligible to open their shops at all times on all seven days of the week, subject to the condition that the owner gets their shops registered online. Currently, this registration facility is available only in Gurgaon, Panchkula, and possibly Faridabad. As per the statement of the Honorable Minister of Labour and Employment, this facility will be extended throughout the state. For more details, you may contact your area Labour Inspector, who also serves as the Shops Inspector for the area.
