Hi, I want to know abt Pay roll structure.. thanks Pushpendra
regarding payroll structure, you may refer payroll resources...would be helpful.
you need to devide payroll into four parts 1.employee details (token no., name, doj, designation, dept), 2. days present in month (including leaves/leave status must be shown), 3. Actual salary details (Basic, DA, HRA, Conv, Spl....), 4. Earned salary details (earnings of Basic+da+hra+.....) - Deductions like (PF+ESI+TDS+Profiessional Tax+ G. insurance+ loan+advance......)= Net salary.
this is only for an idea to you, if you have any specific payroll package it is enogh. if you need i will send copy to you. mail me

Hi, check the Minimum basic rates prevailing in your state.
The basic should not be below that the minimum wages of related state.
for low grade salary u can keep the basic as maximum (should not be less then the minimum wages as per the Act) while for high grate u may fix basic rate as 25-30 % and then can determine other allowances keeping in view for I,Tax etc.
best regards,
