Dignity of Men: Is it Unnecessary for CiteHR?
Under the thread "BIG BOSS PREMJI AZMI ALONG WITH COLLEAGUES HIT BY DV ACT," I had traced out the origin of neglect of dignity of men in Article 51A(e) of the Constitution of India. Since then, indignity against men has come a long way up to affecting Premji Azmi and his colleagues through the DV Act. This trend is expected to continue and escalate. To address this issue, I had suggested a small amendment, which involves adding "and men." However, there is only one post supporting this suggestion.
This situation reminds me of the result of the impeachment motion against Supreme Court judge Justice Ramaswamy. In favor of the motion, there were 196 votes, and none were against it. However, these 196 votes fell short of the required 2/3rd majority of the members present in the house, leading to the failure of the impeachment motion.
Presently, out of about 20,000 members in CiteHR, there is only one person supporting the amendment of Article 51A(e) of The Constitution of India to include "and men" for the protection of men's dignity.
Based on this, it seems that CiteHR may not prioritize the care and respect of men's dignity. Am I correct?

There are not fewer than 100 threads in citehr. The latest being "How to Make women happy!!!" Members here are highly prolific in praise of women. But alas! Not a word on the dignity of men? Will they not die due to complete dignity deprivation? How long will it take for the extinction of the male folk?

You will find very few articles on "How to Make Men happy" as it is considered a crime as per the Indian Government. See the government's head, sir; you will get the answer. Yes, Indian Men do not deserve any dignity; they are born to be treated like a "Donkey," earn money, feed the family, and die earlier or get murdered.

Is it the reason for which there is no response to this topic and 100+ threads in praise of women? My question remains - How much time will it take for the extinction of the male folk due to dignity deprivation?

Dear Dr. Jogheshwar,
First time in my life, I have read so many mails from men... how they also need equal rights & their hate mails. It is not that women don't want men to have equal rights... I think all men need to fight for their right... i.e., they will have to come openly/talk openly about their feelings... which they rarely do. Not to blame them... men have been taught not to show their emotions... or else they are called sissy. So to end this... if my vote counts... then I would say men should have equal rights.

Your vote certainly and greatly counts, sister Asha. The ocean is just drops of water accumulated together. There was 1 vote. Now it is another 1. This makes a force of 11. So the force of your vote is 10 at this stage. The next vote will have a force of 100.
I am grateful to you, sister Asha. Regarding hate mails, it will be nice of you if you please specify. We are born of women, and we do have uterine sisters too.

Dr. Saab,
By hate mails, I mean how all men just poured out their feelings in your previous article about Ajim Premji and the DV Act. There were many, especially from Rebel, because I read his email in detail. I am not annoyed at anyone; everyone has different experiences, and accordingly, they react.
How about discussing some other topics now? This helps us understand the topic from different viewpoints.

"You want harmony or violence?"
As far as I understand, she very much wants harmony. She also understands that men are deprived of equal dignity. For that, men are to come up. She says:
"It is not that women don't want men to have equal rights... I think all men need to fight for their right... i.e., they will have to come openly/talk openly about their feelings... which they rarely do."
From this thread itself, it is very clear that men are not coming up "openly" to repair their dignity deprivation. So, I feel that her observations are very right.

Becoming jittery due to dignity deprivation is one thing, and striving for repair is another. To me, getting lost in the former leads nowhere. Men must strive for the latter as well, and rather, that should be a priority.

I am still hopeful that feminine women are not extinct from society, though feminist women are in abundance. But if we are angered by the latter, then we are conquered. So we must not miss our goal, that is, the removal of dignity deprivation.

Dear Swarup,
I don't know what kind of women you have met in your life by saying that you are worried about your mom/sis and how to save them from their daughter-in-law. Well, all these people you talked about are, after all, women.
We human beings are different in our thinking, behavior, culture, caste, creed, likes, and dislikes. So, it is obvious we behave differently. All we can do is either try to understand them from another's point of view. Here, no one is 100% correct.
If you are saying you can't trust women, then even I could have said the same about men. But I do believe there are good men also.
We talk about equal rights always, but all men here, can you tell me what is your contribution in household work? We have been taught by our parents/society that girls need to do certain things and boys certain things. You grow on those principles, and then we realize the loopholes in our so-called society, but we hardly fight against it.
We shouldn't forget that women have been subjected to many problems previously, and there were hardly any ones to help them. They had come together and fought for their rights and are still doing it. Some men had also helped them.
Now, unless and until you guys come out, how do you think anyone will come to know about your problems? We do hear cases of men being raped also, and I won't say it can't happen. So, you need to fight.
When I start writing, I write big stories. :D Sorry for that.

Asha

Ashaji,
The problem is somewhat different. The problem is: IGNORE THE FACTS AND LAW AND PREVAIL THE OPINION AND THAT IS THE LAW. So all cries of men are cries in the wilderness. Has no concerned authority seen Article 51A(e) so far since 1976? Then before whom to cry?

I am glad you read my comments/articles in detail. So did I.
You have written in one place that men need to fight for their rights. I heartily appreciate your sensitivity.
But, you have also called our fight for our rights as 'hate mails'. Is that not a contradictory statement?
I am afraid you have misunderstood me. I don't hate women. I have utmost respect for 'good' women. But when I criticize 'bad' women, a lot of women, and also some men, say that I am a misogynist. Is this not narrow-minded thinking? There are some women who can't tolerate criticism toward a bad woman. I call them male-hating women. We are not ashamed of admitting that there are some bad men. But these women just won't accept that there are some bad women, too. As far as DV Act is concerned, not protecting men is actually a way to protect those bad women who are subjecting their husband to domestic violence. Is judiciary not protecting the culprit if men are unprotected? This isn't a hate comment. This is simple logic.
Please understand. This isn't some kind of hate mail. When one is tortured by a woman, he is bound to express his feelings strongly, which quite often is misunderstood as hatred for women. Besides, there are many men here agreeing to the need for men's rights who have pretty good experience with women. It is often said that when a man is fighting for his rights, people assume that he might have had a bad experience with a woman, which is highly derogatory for the male gender. Whereas women who are happy with men, too, don't hesitate to fight for women's rights. Why are they not called male-haters, especially when they are happy with men but still want to fight for women's rights?
Just so you know, there are many derogatory advertisements shown on television as a way to empower women. There are male-bashing serials produced to empower women. Is this the right way to empower women by attacking men's sensibilities and dignity? TV serials are showing women slapping a man. Will this not inspire women to get more physically violent with men? These men who are and who will be physically assaulted by women don't have rights to complain. Men have a soft corner for women, and when a woman slaps a man, the pain in his heart is indescribable, which no woman can ever experience. There are several incidents where men have committed suicide after their wife slapped them in front of others. If such incidents continue, more men will commit suicide, some men will fight back, and some men will get more violent with women.
Is this the way to attain gender equality? Gender equality isn't a zero-sum game that men have to lose for women to win. And that is exactly what these women groups are doing. These women groups have instigated too much hatred between genders.
It is a wrong assumption that only those men will fight for their rights who are victims. Non-victims too can and should fight for their rights. And they have already started.
Women groups are complaining that women's status in the country is inferior. But if women groups are going to empower women in this fashion, then I am afraid women's status will deteriorate even further because men will know that these women are equipped with legal powers to harass men.

Rebel, well explained, that is the reason you are a rebel. What I have witnessed, in the Name of Women Empowerment, women activists are engaging in terrorist activities. Their logic, by implementing such laws (one-sided biased wholesale free license), is that men will fear and stop committing crimes. It just reminds me of the activities of terrorist organizations in Kashmir. Their logic is also the same. However, history shows that terrorist activities only kill the innocent, and history also shows that terrorist activities cannot bring freedom.
The same is happening in India. As a result, for the first time in the world, there is a significant protest against the "Indian Domestic Violence Act," their false statistics are being exposed.
The voice for the "Domestic Harmony Act" is rising in western countries today.

One must understand that justice will prevail only when good men and good women come together, join hands, and fight against family breakers like the DV Act. The DV Act will not only create problems for good men but will also be detrimental to good women, too. Children will be deprived of a loving family life. Men alone can't win this fight. Good women, too, must, and I am sure will come together and oppose such biased laws. Good men and good women are capable enough to instill excellent moral values in their children. This is possible when laws are designed to protect the "actual" victims.
It is highly unfortunate that people have no idea about the treasure of our Indian culture. People misunderstand our culture to be repressive and dogmatic. However, there is no denying that one day, good people will re-establish the original Indian culture and revive righteousness and morality in society. Both men and women must work toward this goal.

Swarup, as said before, even I have faced men who have been very mean, but that does not change my view about the rest of them. I also said that we have been brought up in a different way, so I don't blame men alone. I don't know what happened to your mom, and I am sorry if I have hurt your sentiments.

Is it really so impossible to co-exist?
Charity begins at home. If we could just instill certain values in our children about 'respect', the coming generation will surely be in a better condition than we are now. There will be harmony, peace, and love within society. Do you all think that if our children are morally strong, do they need AIDS education? I think not.
We can instill these vital values in our children only when 'we' understand the importance of 'respect'. Why are we fighting over who is better than whom; men or women? Why can't they be beautifully different and amazingly inter-dependent? Why can't there be respect for each other and acceptance of their differences?
Women need to stop hating men so that they accept their own shortcomings. Women must realize that nobody is perfect, and that happiness lies within. Men need to develop more self-esteem so that they don't go out of their way to seek a woman's love. Low self-esteem forces men to seek a woman's love the wrong way. Women must understand that men are born thinkers and so they are bound to keep their feelings to themselves. Men must understand that women are hungry for love and support. Why do we, men and women, have to fight for 'rights'? There is no such thing as 'rights'. There are only duties. Men must do their duty and women must not abandon their duty calling it their 'rights'.
Unfortunately, some feminists have gone crazy, and worse is that they are now in authority to dictate legal provisions for women.
Harmony and peace in society can be attained when we nurture man's and a woman's natural instincts. A man should be taught to respect himself and a woman should be taught to respect culture. This way, a man will respect himself and women, and women will bring peace in society by respecting culture. They both have to play their respective roles, and only then can we expect India to progress.
Enacting such biased laws will only increase gender gap, differences, and create hostility between genders. We need moral values; not laws. Law only punishes the crime, but it never prevents it. Why don't we think along the line of preventing such crime instead of punishing the culprit? Besides, our judiciary is such that it will punish a hundred innocent people to convict one criminal. Is this fair? Only moral values prevent crimes.
Now is the time. We need righteous people in politics. People who are qualified, experienced, having moral standards and above all, they must set an example of a true Indian citizen. "Jaisa raja, waisi praja." Till now, the corrupt system is running the people, but now we must empower people so that they must run the system the way they want it. Even if somebody wants to change the system, he/she will be forced to be a part of the corrupt system, and his/her identity will be lost in the bureaucracy. We need leaders, not politicians. We need social entrepreneurs, not feminists.
There are still some opportunities to change the system. We need to answer this question. "Are you concerned about your children's future in Indian society?" The answer is "Yes".

Ashaji, if you have found me thinking that all girls are bad, then I would like to correct myself.
In my opinion, it is a rare opportunity in a man's life to sacrifice his life (not killing himself) for a good woman. It is a spiritual belief, which I strongly follow, that when a man takes good care of a woman (mother, sister, wife, daughter) in his life, his way to heaven is open for him. It is a blissful feeling for a man when he abandons his own wishes for the happiness of a good woman.
Ramakrishna Paramhamsa used to "literally" worship his wife Sarada Devi. A woman is a form of Shakti, and a man is a form of Brahman. Men used to worship women, and it was possible because women used to respect their own self. Women knew that they have the 'key' to men's salvation as well as their own salvation. This is possible when women do not excite a man's sexual feelings. There is a reason behind women wearing dignified outfits. That is how our culture comes into the picture, which modern women call repressive. Nobody can expect a man to respect a woman if his sexual feelings are constantly urged. When women respect themselves and the culture and when men respect themselves and women, there is peace and harmony in the world. Each one of us is carrying two conflicting forces within us, e.g., good and bad. Now the environment is such that the good forces within us are getting suppressed, and bad forces are getting dominant in our thinking and actions.
However, deterioration is an indispensable reality of our creation. The present establishment of immoral minds must be destroyed to welcome a whole new righteous establishment. Each one of us is playing their role. Some are playing to destroy righteousness, and some are playing to revive righteousness. It is an inevitable reality. Some are breaking families by enacting such draconian laws, and some are preventing such disasters.
Some women, now, have lost all respect for their hidden strength, and some men have lost all control of their infinite willpower. People are living their life for temporary materialistic pleasure. It all depends on one's desire. Good desires lead us to happiness and peace, which most often are considered boring, lifeless, and outdated. Bad desires lead us to physical pleasure and enjoyment, which most often are considered vital in modern lifestyle. The mind is pretty much like space. Any smoke of selfish desire can spoil the blissful empty space.
I hope Ashaji you don't consider me a woman-hater. I am here only to play my role to prevent the disaster.

Rebel, well said.
That is my point too. We just waste our time blaming everyone. Now the point is, how do we do it? As you said, we need to instill these principles of equality in our children, who are the future. We can start discussing these with our friends and family, both women and men. This will at least change our immediate surroundings. You can suggest more.

Asha

I do agree that nowadays, girls are more interested in a boy's money than in him. But, as said, we are born in different environments, so let us not get biased towards all.

Asha Ji,
We are not discussing any personal matters, neither yours nor mine. It is a question of zero social pathology Ganga. Here, the question arises about the 5th category of women, Dankini, the feminists.

Intensive Global Efforts Bring Two Victories in One Week!
This past week our hard work was rewarded with two victories. And both of them stemmed from flawed reports from the United Nations.
UN Study on Violence Against Women
The first report was the UN secretary-general's Study on Violence Against Women. The document amounted to an ideological denunciation of the "patriarchy" and recommended that every country around the world enact VAWA-like laws: http://www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/vaw. Columnist Wendy McElroy described the report as "embarrassingly inaccurate, ideological, and biased against men." (http://www.ifeminists.net/e107_plugi...php?content.55)
What happened next was nothing short of miraculous.
RADAR drafted a resolution calling on the UN Third Committee to only "note," not "welcome" the report. The resolution was sent around the world, and within a few short weeks 118 organizations in 14 countries had endorsed it: http://www.mediaradar.org/docs/UN-Vi...Resolution.pdf
Alerts were issued and over a one-month period, an estimated 30,000 e-mails were sent to US ambassador John Bolton. The delegations from other countries were deluged with messages, as well.
When the dust had cleared, the Third Committee decided to "note," not "welcome" the secretary-general's report! A change of a single word may seem insignificant, but it basically means that the Committee gave the Secretary General's report a failing grade.
Please send Ambassador Bolton short "thank you" for voting to only "note" the flawed secretary-general's report at
.
Washington Times Article on Abused Wives in India
The second report came from a chart developed by the UN Population Fund. Whoever made the chart committed statistical malpractice, because it simply makes no sense. ( http://mensnewsdaily.com <link updated to site home> )
But that flawed chart gave rise to this statement that appeared in a front-page article in the Washington Times: "A 2005 U.N. Population Fund report found that 70 percent of married women in India were victims of beatings or rape." (http://www.washingtontimes.com/world...0817-8603r.htm)
The statement was defamatory and beyond belief.
RADAR issued two Alerts, and the complaints POURED in. Messages came from the United States, Canada, India, and elsewhere.
So this past Tuesday, TWT finally ran the following retraction:
"Using a chart published in a 2005 U.N. Population Fund report – which the UN agency now says was misleading – a London Daily Telegraph article published in Nov. 13 editions of The Washington Times incorrectly stated the frequencies of wife abuse in India. The agency says that it does not have sufficient data to provide such a figure and that the chart was intended to show that 70 percent of Indian women who were abused by their husbands think such abuse is justified in at least some circumstances." (http://washingtontimes.com/correctio...2228-2806r.htm)
These are major victories. Kudos for the messages you sent to the United Nations that would have otherwise treated half-truths and innuendo about violence against women as absolute truth. And kudos to all who complained to the Washington Times for publishing its inflammatory propaganda.
This Alert is sent in the spirit of appreciation and thanks for a job well done. This is an example of how a cooperative effort involving over 100 organizations in 14 countries around the world can truly make a difference.

In an effort to recruit effective partners in its campaign to protect the girl child, the Ministry of Women and Child Development had written to several spiritual leaders, asking them to speak against female foeticide while stressing the "positive attributes" of women in their discourses. Officials hope saints will incorporate messages from Vedic and Puranic texts, family, and religious values. Letters were sent to spiritualists such as Sri Asaram Bapu, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Guru Ramdev, Baba Gurinder Singh, Baba Prem Kumar Satsangi, and Baba Hardev Singh. Similarly, they should be sensitized about the plight of NRIs at the hands of "MOIA" in league with feminists. These gurus may get convinced and may speak the truth. They keep coming to the US and can find ground realities, and they have followers and a good audience. As a matter of fact, they should be sensitized about the feminist's conspiracy against India.

Dr Saab Pls forgive me....but can u pls tell me what does this phrase mean..... ZERO SOCIAL PATHOLOGY GANGA? regards, asha
Thank you, Sister Asha,
Every word is self-explanatory. "Pathology" refers to disease, meaning dis-ease. "Social pathology" means the disease of society, signifying disharmony. "Zero Social Pathology" indicates no disharmony in society. "Ganga" is added to name this mission, which cleanses every pathology. Now, I believe the idea is clear and vivid. Right?

Time seems to have arrived for the world to witness a social reform, all thanks to Feminists. To me, feminists as of date are nothing but a bunch of brainless voices who prefer to shout and scream without any application of mind. Such women and their advocates are myopic, completely oblivious to the mission for which they are existing on Mother Earth. Little do these women realize that ultimately their lives would be akin to a rudderless ship.
Unfortunately, these brainless voices have come to believe that their emancipation is possible through the exploitation of Men. Aah! What they overlooked in the process was a huge chunk of female voices who would come up against these brainless voices. What a pity and what a sight it would be in the near future when the brainy power would be fighting against the brainless power, with no bias for gender possible! :)
Jokes apart, like times immemorial, it would be the fight of Right against Wrong. And perhaps Laws like 498a and DV Act are only a means to achieving the ultimate end: Salvation.
Injustice, Inequality, and many ills of society which owe their existence to such fascist regimes would need to redo their existence strategies. Though such ills may never cease to exist, perhaps the fascist feminists might.
Coming back to the topic under discussion, I believe Dignity of Men is important from the point of view of HR as well. Any human being who faces abuse at the hands of others is bound to suffer from low self-esteem, which would translate into lower self-confidence, an increase in stress, lower productivity at work, an impact on Corporate output... the list is endless.
I would say Dignity is vital for existence in a civilized society. It is as important for Men as it is for Women. If Men feel deprived, then it's time they raised their Voices. They have the Right.

No, this isn't yet another thrilling fictional story of a man drinking vanishing syrup and becomes invisible. However, such fictional stories would have captured our imagination cozily. This is about men whose presence is invisible. They are physically there but we conveniently not bother ourselves to know that they are there. They are like the white angels of our country, silently doing their work so that we can live happily.
These men are the common men; those common men without which our country would come to an abrupt halt and it will easily bring our nation down to its knees. They work day and night so that we, the common Indian citizen, can sleep and live comfortably. Most of them are in dilapidated condition, and some are living on the edge so that we don't have to live on the edge.
These men have no personal life. We would wonder sometimes, are they born to serve us ceaselessly? They would get up in the morning, even before the birds rise; then they get on with their work so that we don't have to face the trouble.
Still didn't get the idea who these men are?
Okay, let me elaborate. Maybe then you would realize why they are called the invisible men.
The list of men according to the job they do is given below.
1) Sewage workers: Imagine! We go to the toilet or bathroom and you see the water isn't passing and you realize that it's the same with the whole building. What would you do? You probably use some accessories of plumbing in your toilet to get rid of the stuck-up, but no money in the world can persuade you to do it for all the flats of the building. Just because these men, invisible men, chose to do this work where they don't have to deal with filthy people, but filth itself for meager amount of money to sustain his family, we are here able to flaunt our interiors of our flat to our friends, and some may even have a kinky bath with their partners.
These sewage workers ignore the dangers of getting infected with some deadly skin disease from filth. Despite the obvious dangers, they continue to work so that we can live comfortably. Think about it.
2) Truck/Bus/Taxi/Train/Auto rickshaw drivers: Can you imagine life in this modern fast world without proper transport? Probably you can but definitely you can't without these men who drive them. Countless truck drivers have no personal life. They eat, drink and sleep in the truck; they live their life in the truck, and also die. We enjoy being in a swanky air-conditioned car having amazing suspension and silent machine with good speed and pick-up, but when we open the window in the middle of a highway, we can't bear the hot polluted breeze even for a moment. Imagine the condition of these truck drivers.
Auto rickshaw drivers are the punching bag of the car drivers in the city. Doesn't matter whose fault is it, invariably, the auto rickshaw driver gets beaten up and we, standing on the bus stop enjoy the scene and share it with our friends enthusiastically. And cops just love these auto rickshaw drivers because half of the bribe collected comes from them.
Bus drivers are really intimidating, but most of them are surprisingly soft spoken. The conductors have the feet of steel. They stand whole day in a moving bus balancing their feet, moving from one corner to the other, giving tickets and they manage to calculate money amazingly fast. The money and ticket bag that they carry is pretty heavy and most kids love to have one steel box of the ticket. Think about it.
3) Waiters/Cooks: It is so boring to cook at home and eat especially on a day of celebration like birthday, anniversary, and parties. It's so wonderful to go to a restaurant, sit cozily and order something that you want to eat, drink in a royal manner. Its fun, isn't it? We don't even have to get up and walk to the wash basin to clean our hands; the waiter will bring a cute bowl filled with hot water and a floating piece of a lemon. Who doesn't like to be treated royally? These waiters are waiters in the literal sense. Have you ever seen a waiter sitting? They just wait, waiting to serve you.
They choose this work, which pays miserably, so that they can serve you and see you with a smile when you leave the restaurant. They work from early morning till midnight tirelessly, and they have no holidays. The cooks work whole day in a very hot surrounding under tremendous pressure. They know that one mistake of theirs can easily put a lock on the restaurant. And all we do is work really hard to get rid of the food stuck between our teeth with a toothpick. Think about it.
4) Firefighters: Fire can cook your food and can even cook your house. They risk their lives so that we are safe. Don't they have their own family? They do. But, more than their own life and the life of their family, our live and family are important for them. They wear large heavily armoured specially made suits that protect them, only up to certain limit. Whatever you do, wherever you are, they are ever ready to march in and risk their life to save yours and your belongings. These brave selfless men have become mere facilities of a modern city having no human emotions, thanks to our insensitivity.
5) Defense: Kids find military, navy and air-force fascinating. All kids must have played with the toys of machines guns, fighter planes, navy ships at one point of time. Many people who are now into medicine, law, banking, computers wanted to join army or air-force or navy when they were young. The gruesome training of these brave men is a fun to watch sitting at home. They stay with their comrades for many months to guard our borders in the rugged mountains of the Himalayas in the freezing weather with no facilities, so that we can live freely.
They yearn for just one opportunity to watch television to rekindle the excitement and vigour into their group. They ceaselessly perform the same task every single day - keeping a vigil at the border. We sometimes watch the parade on 26th January and admire the sophisticated tanks, fighter jets, and weaponries, but we don't realize that men in blood and flesh with emotions like ours are using these weapons only to keep us safe. Think about it.
How would we ever be grateful to these men who subordinated their ambition, money, family, personal safety and dreams so that we, common man, can live happily? Maybe we can't be grateful because we are shown only the conditions of women. The media is looking at women from a point of view where they believe women are supposed to and ought to and deserve to live like queens, like maharanis of the country. What about men then? Yes, it's a man's world where men put their life on the line so that the common man can live happily, and women can live like queens.
Men are conditioned to live a difficult life without a sigh of complaint and women are conditioned to complaint even when she sneezes. Society is beginning to ‘feel' for women and is ignoring the ordeals of these men without considering the fact that just because men don't complain, that doesn't mean they are enjoying themselves. Do you feel these men are enjoying themselves?
Ignoring these brave men is only making their life tougher and eventually it will affect every single citizen of the country. Probably that is the time to ask women, who are creating so much fuss about their gender, if they can excel men in these works. Complaining all the time on petty issues is not Women Empowerment. Get inspired from these brave selfless men instead of trying to live like queens.

And still then the feminists are unable to swallow when I say that the world is more comfortable for women than it is to men.
My reasons are:
1.In average women live longer than men,
2. Suicide rate is much higher in men than women(one and half times),
3.Accident rate is much higher in men than in women,
4. In India the arrest rate of men is 24 times higher than women.
5.About 90% of centenarians are women.
6.About 80% of octogenarians are women.

Dr. Saab,
I said thanks for explaining "ZERO SOCIAL PATHOLOGY GANGA?"
As for my reflexes,
You said, "And still then the feminists are unable to swallow when I say that the world is more comfortable for women than it is for men."
I say: I have not seen my life more comfortable than men. I don't know about others.
You said:

1. On average, women live longer than men.
I say: I don't know why... if it is true.
2. The suicide rate is much higher in men than women (one and a half times).
I say: I don't know about the figure... but should be similar to what I said for point 4... finally when nothing works... they must be doing this.
3. The accident rate is much higher in men than in women.
I say: Because the percentage of men working is higher than women. Now, you don't blame women for these accidents.
4. In India, the arrest rate of men is 24 times higher than women.
I say: Men have always been entrusted by society that they have to take care of their family members... they end up committing crimes just because "THEY ARE TAUGHT TO BE THE BREADWINNERS." The rate may change when women face the same situation. In India, many women are still housewives.
5. About 90% of centenarians are women.
I say: Please tell me what it means.
6. About 80% of octogenarians are women.
I say: Please tell me what it means.
Now you may scold me for asking you the meaning every time... But please excuse me.

You said:
My reasons are:

Men have always been entrusted by society with the responsibility of taking care of their family members.
Similarly, women have always been entrusted by society with the responsibility of taking care of men for their personal needs. The world's oldest profession is women's profession, which cannot be reversed.

Men have proved that they will continue to follow the tradition of the country – protecting and providing women of the society. In this process, even if he stands to lose, the society will not tolerate their deviation. Women in the Indian culture are revered for their sanctity, modesty and sacrificial attitude toward children. This culture is beginning to get denounced. Now women are clad in skimpy clothes flaunting their bodies to attract and seduce men and also continue to demand the same reverence from the society. It is unfair for intelligent people but it is perfectly fair according to women. Quite rightly so as they stand to lose if they allow anybody to look at them with less reverence, even after shedding all their sanctity, modesty and sacrificial nature, which we are now seeing in modern women.
Men in India have brought up to protect and provide women and they have helplessly accepted it. He is demanded to behave responsibly and he must always think first about his family welfare and never about himself. That can easily be proved when we see men working in the most inhospitable environment, doing hazardous jobs, slogging in the scorching sun only to feed a two square meal to his family. Has this sort of sacrificial code of conduct of men ever been revered or praised? Never. They have always been money-making machines of the family.
Now, after the women empowerment campaign, the condition of men is deteriorating to a dangerous level. The legal system and the political system conveniently make a scapegoat out of a man for their vested interest. Police, who are under pressure from their peers to solve the case, will implicate an innocent man and as far as confession is concerned, police hire hefty monstrous men to give these innocent men third degree. Bollywood has always made a point that whenever a woman is in trouble, a man comes to rescue her and beats the crap out of a male villain. And women obviously stand to gain to maintain a piercing competition and hostility between two men. The mindset is so much altered by movies that people spontaneously come to the conclusion that if a woman is complaining, then the man has to be at fault and should be punished. Credibility of women in India is stupendous.
The lifestyle of men has always been ignored for centuries. It is not a rare sight to watch an unassuming man peeing on the side of the road. Women, as usual, think that they are men and so they have no shame and no dignity. How insensitive women could sometimes be! But the Government is more interested in beautifying posh locality instead of providing essential sanitation and public toilets at key spots. Most poor men would be seen bathing near a water tank on the side of a road and people never think that they are helpless because they have no other alternative to keep themselves healthy. There are hundreds of urchins roaming around the city streets but you will hardly see a girl child wearing nothing, but you will see plenty of male children with no clothes. There are many rural areas in the country where women are heavily clad along with their daughters but male child is always kept naked. This is seen on not only roads but also in good homes. It is highly disgusting and disappointing to see people's indifference and lack of sensitivity toward these little boys who are actually being sexually abused openly.
A husband is not immune to his wife's vicious nagging that goes on ceaselessly even if some believe so. But men have accepted it as a part and parcel of a married life. Every man who is about to get married is always teased with statements like, “Now you are dead, you will be sacrificed like a goat and you will have to keep a smiling face.” Conversely, when a woman is about to get married, she is meticulously taught with statements like, “Keep your husband under your control.” Amazingly, we all know about it but we still remain skeptical when a man complains of being harassed by his wife. To add insult to injury, women have introduced domestic violence bill wherein the wife will have a legal license to drag her husband to jail if he resists her domination. Alarmingly, there is hardly any aggressive objection from men on such laws that will strangulate their individuality, identity and freedom. And women, they are constantly reminding the society that they are women and so men is obligated to protect and provide women with no exception whatsoever.
It is already late but it is better late than never to realize and accept the fact that men have always been a weaker gender and a second class citizen of the country. A citizen who is born to grow up as money making machine and act as a pet dog to their wife in order to maintain the traditional culture bombarded on him since centuries. If we men won't understand another man, then who will? And women have conveniently defamed our brotherhood as male chauvinism. Think about it.

Rebel says:
"It is already late but it is better late than never to realize and accept the fact.
What "Rebel" says is true. But this is happening in the Western world in a limited way and has gone out of bounds in India (with funding from Western feminists) to destroy centuries-old Indian culture, family values, and the joint family system.
This situation is not taking place in the Islamic world, which is 1400 years old. Shariah Laws are obeyed and respected by all for the survival of the religion.
Should we assume that Islam is better for human survival and the preservation of India and its culture?"

Domestic Violence Rumor Mill Runs The Weekly Standard
By David R. Usher on Dec 04, 06
Despite the fact that the United Nations Third Committee did not “acknowledge” the Secretary-General's study on domestic violence against women [DAW], The Weekly Standard (a Forbes publication run by neo-conservative William Kristol) ran an insidious article about domestic violence in India, titled “Dowry Disgrace”.
Forbes supports India's radical new domestic violence law which is based in part on Forbe's assertion that “70 percent of Indian women have experienced some form of domestic abuse”. This claim is not only wrong: it is also a misquotation of the U.N Secretary General's Report now-debunked claim that “A 2005 U.N. Population Fund report found that 70 percent of married women in India were victims of beatings or rape”.
I fully debunked this claim in a previous article, Feminist Takeover of the U.N. is an Issue of National Security, exposing it as a fanatical lie.
This raises a question for all publishers: why do they allow feminist staff writers such as Abigail Lavin to make hateful statements about men, and to knowingly lie about statistics in ways that would result in the immediate termination of any other writer? Issues of race and sex are very serious issues requiring a very high level of editorial vetting.
The article raises another over-arching point: Why did Republicans just lose both houses of Congress? I will answer this question with another question: Why would anybody vote for conservatives who outdo their radical social counterparts on the far left? Kristol is part of the Conservative cabal who sold out social issues to feminists on K street. This resulted in PROWA, the VAWA reauthorizations, and billions of federal funds given to radical feminists, the majority of which the GAO cannot account for. Voters who expected “family values” reforms know Conservatives sold them out, and voted them out on November 7th.
The Standard article is simply another example of media feminists passively reprinting the dirty work of radical feminist field advocates, so as to legitimize their work.
Abigail Lavin did not do her homework. She failed to look for legitimate critics of the new law. In the article, she conveniently quotes far-left feminist “critics” who did not get everything they wanted in the new law: “the law has come under fire from critics who view it as merely cosmetic”. Let me remind you, Ms. Lavin, that quoting the most radical feminists does not constitute balanced investigative journalism. If I were your editor, you would be fired by now.
There are many legitimate critics of the new law. RADAR (Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting) is very interested in this issue. In India, RAKSHAK and 498.org have plenty to say about it. There is no excuse for Lavin not representing the issue fairly.
It is quite clear that western radical feminists have undertaken a very dangerous cultural invasion of India. They differ from Attila the Hun only by the weapons they are use: hate of men and horrendous lies about them. If America does not stop this invasion, which we are funding, it could easily result in yet another country of deeply religious citizens who hate America to the point of taking up terrorist jihad. We must act now to prevent this from happening.
We all agree that dowry killings are wrong. Legislation must address this problem, but not create a radical feminist imperium designed to destroy marriage and turn India into yet another western-style predatory welfare state entitling endemic prostitution and single motherhood.
I have demanded a full retraction by the Weekly Standard, and requested they do another piece focusing on the legitimate criticism of the new domestic violence law in India. You may send your letters to the editor of the Weekly Standard at

It appears that you neither relied on my information nor agreed with my inference. Second, you project your personal experience as the truth for the whole of India, nevertheless even the whole world. Am I right?

That is the reason I say Dr. Shabb, Men are from "Mars" and Women are from "Venus". Both have some advantages and disadvantages. But, regarding the protection of the dignity of women everywhere, we see campaigning. Regarding the protection of the dignity of men, no campaigning.
"That means, either men are more dignified than women or our country does not want men to be dignified?"
Regarding life, statistics show men are having a tougher time than women. Still, women have a very strong power; despite having all the power, they can cry and say, "I am an abala Nari... please protect me." Here, the key of the thought process lacks.
This is for those who have not updated their knowledge: "Domestic Violence is a Crime and the same should be applicable for all, as verbal abuse, mental harassment, economic abuse, cheating of relationships, both bad men and bad women are doing equally. More than 98% of Indian Husbands, as studied by SIF, face domestic violence from their wives as described above.
In addition to that, the WHO Report (World Health Organizations) states: For the age group of 30-44 years, the suicide rate of men is 60% higher than women. For the age group of 44-59 years, the suicide rate of men is 116% higher than women. For the age group of 60 years and above, the suicide rate of men is 117% higher than women. The National Crime Bureau reports 68,000 suicides by men in the year 2004 compared to 39,000 suicides by women. These extra 29,000 men who committed suicide are predominantly married men. In short, their wives drove them to suicide.
Current Suicide rates in India: National rate: 11 persons per 100,000 - IndiaStat.com. For males in the age group of 30 to 44, the suicide rate is a whopping 508 per 100,000 persons; for women, it is 220. The suicide rate among men in the age group of 45 to 59 is a shocking 1,812 per 100,000 persons and among women, nearly 550. So much more people are dying due to SOWRY (reverse of DOWRY) harassment than the DOWRY harassment.
However, among divorced males, the suicide rate is 164 per 100,000 persons, but even in this class, among females, the rate is only 63 per 100,000. While the suicide rate for separated men is about 167, for females, it is only 41 per 100,000 persons. The above statistics are surprising but are reality. Culturally, India is very inclined/respected/supportive to women and the advantage taken by women organizations.

Hmm, some debate this is!
Dignity - I support Dr. on this subject.
I wouldn't get into any explanation because so much has been written and debated!
I would like to once turn everybody's attention to the several incorrect and unjust methods politicians, people, etc., use for sheer monetary gains.
Example (may not be the right one in some people's opinion):
A famous channel (who proclaim themselves as the best in the industry and always grab medals for great performances) shows every night - the quality of water in various parts of the country. They show everything in percentages (%) - for example, 98% of the sample was below standards, etc. But they never tell or show how many samples were taken for analysis. It could always be that just one sample was taken and found contaminated, and then proclaim that 100% of the samples taken were found to be of BAD QUALITY.
And at the end of their water quality in the court report - the presenter goes on to say "make sure that the water you use is safe!"
If you carefully look at the corner of the screen during this water quality report, you will see the advertisement of a manufacturer, and the analysis is done at the laboratory of the company!
See for yourself during the 9 PM news of this famous channel.
Isn't this a very subtle strategy to push that particular company's products? And isn't the company paying a tidy sum to the TV channel for that time slot (this could run into lakhs because it is so-called "prime time" on a very "prime TV channel"?
See and JUDGE for yourself, my dear friends!
