Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and really getting very useful information from it. Currently, I'm pursuing an MBA and going through some training.

My project topic is exit interview practices in a particular organization. Can anyone suggest what all I should cover under this topic?

Regards,
Shruti

Hope this will help you. The exit policy covers the below-mentioned details:

1) Hard copy resignation (as per compliance is required).
2) Approval for resignation acceptance from the employee's manager.
3) No-due clearance certificate/note for departments like IT/Accounts/Quality, among others.
4) Exit interview and detailed comments for HR SPOC.
5) Relieving letter/acceptance of resignation letter from the company.
6) Full and final statement in hard copy.
7) Experience certificate copy issued to the employee.

All these documents should be filed in the employee's personal file. Additionally, the comments from the exit interview should be captured in the system, and a monthly report should be provided to management.

Please find the attached formats for exit interview forms.

Hi Shruthi,

Warm Greetings,

Good to hear that you are doing a project on one of the exciting topics - Exit Interview. First, you need to create an organizational structure to show where the exit interview is dealt with and under which function it falls.

Later, you can cover the details as follows:

1) Employee Name:
2) Current Designation:
3) Current Division:
4) Current Department:
5) Total Experience in the current Organization:
6) Previous Experience:
7) Reason for quitting the job?
8) Suggestions for the Management?

Etc..........

I think you can proceed with this type of format along with a sample questionnaire.

If you need any further support, please email me at bkv.kumar@rediffmail.com.
