Dear All
Can anyone give me worker calculation......i have canfusion in o.t whether it should be calculate on 26 days or 30,31,28/29 days and our comapny is giving 2652 per month wages to un-skiiled workers and it is also in ctc basis so it is correct method of calculation of wages or not...

Once you describe the associate as employee it the payment days (monthly payment ) to be divided by 26
and they cannot be on CTC basis
On CTC for regular employees we deduct ESI And PF share from their CTC , where as the LAws are very clear that Employer share of contributions cannot be deducted from employee salary
Mostly companies are hiring only staff (white calar jobs ) on CTC and not the employee force (blue collar grade)

Ya u r right but from past year my company has covered workers wages on CTC BASIS and we have around 800 workers in daman unit.....they only get around 2200 in hand for 8 hours and thier O.T is also calculate on 31/26/29/30 days...so, bad system is goimng on.
I also know but how can i tell to my management who has done this..

ot alwayas calculate on 26 days basic as per law, but lot of companes are doing bad practice to calculte on 31/30/28/29........ this the bad sysem.
u can tell ur management , but i think they don,t agree.
