Hi All, Can someone please throw some light on the roles and responsibilities of a Business Dev Mgr in a BPO/call center industry

Defining responsibilities in general is quite difficult as every company might require certain functions from its employees depending on the organizational style and size of the company. Still, some of the major roles of a Business Development Manager for a BPO industry can be listed as below:

1. Responsible for Business Development
2. Developing "Consultancy" [any other project] Projects with the Market Development Managers
3. Actively participating in identifying and cultivating new customers and business opportunities, etc.
4. Developing a network of "Consulting" channel Partners / Alliances to help drive the company's services across different geographical locations.
