Dear All,

Does anyone have information on how to implement a change in any prevailing salary structure post FBT? How is FBT going to impact issues such as:

1. Car
2. Fuel
3. Telephone (residence and office)
4. CLA, etc.

This is a bit of an undefined area. Even the tax experts have more than one interpretation. There have been more than two changes since it was first published as part of the BUDGET PAPERS. IT industries (export-oriented) have been given a few special treatments.

My suggestions are:
- Discuss with a local tax expert (EXTERNAL VIEW).
- Discuss with the company accountant regarding corporate policies on this matter (INTERNAL VIEW).
- Then review the HR policies regarding C&B package.
