Hi All,
There are so many kinds of Performance Appraisal systems which are being practiced by the organizations. I am not interested to know about these systems. I would like to know about any Appraisal System which can be developed and executed on line in IT as well as Non-IT sector.
I invite all the knowledgeable HR Professionals to share their experiences and views on this On line Performance Appraisal system so that I can explore the possibilities to develop the same to suit our requirements. You can also post any specific forms or formats of such system so that everyone can get benefited.

I did my summer project on 'Performance Management System of BIRLA WHITE Cement' at thier production unit in Jodhpur. They have E-PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM.
But before discussing with you i need to know that what actually you want to know or prepare for your organisation. the procedure, the format, the technicality of online PA.

For appraisng anybody, there are 3 reports required from
appraisee
reporting officer or superior
reviewing officer or head
All that they do is to weigh the qualitative and quantitative traits of the appraisee on a relative scale, which can be benchmarked for the future again. So just list down what are all the traits in an employee that you want to appraise and add to it the requirements of 3 officers mentioned above.
