Hi,
Give him a warning letter. Keep a copy signed by him for office records.
In this case, refer to the company ploicy and do accordingly.
But, dont let it go unattended. Use this issue to give message to other employees who indulge in these things.

Mr. gaurav,
I think the question you have put in has to be dealt according to the Standing order of the organisation, if the organisation doesn't have any standing order then the reference of the Model standing ordert can be taken.
Even after that dissmisal is not like that the procedure for the same which has been given by me in the link attached below to your earlier question. You can just go through the link and have an idea.

Hi,
Along with giving the warning letter.. You may also look for other options like: Chnging his shift timimgs from night to a day shift, Changing his role/ Department so that he does not need to go to the rooms at all.. Not sure how it would work for you but just thought of putting it forward..

Hi,
May be the employee concerned doesn't enjoy the job he does...analyse the job he is doing and do some changes which encourages him and is also beneficial to the company.

Sleeping on duty is one of the misconducts, if frequently sleeping, then immidiatel issue show-cause notice. And receiving written reply from him, warm him to prevant such activities.

Hi HR Manager,

If you are really HR manager you cannot ask such questions?

We the outsiders don't know your business and organization size as well as HR culture.
First you have to identify, why people sleep in hotel room where they are employed?

He must be overburdoned or overtime working beyond normal (social working hours = this means continous night shift working)or excessive hours of working could have less rest etc.etc.. reasond should be known first.

You have to change his shift rota and alter working rotations to reduce the unnecessary strain. You are into hospitality business you cannot expect every employee should be a super human beings working round the clock without rest then blame employee.

If there is problem you have to sort out by adopting correct methodology. because if you bring replacement he will repeat same mistake and your hospitality business doesness aford such happenings witnessed by customers.

I think you must take this as opportunity to improve coordination with your employees and experiment to benefits of the all parties.
