Dear Sir,

I have a Question.

In year 2002 I took VRS after 30 Years of Service from a PSU. Since from start of my service EPF was compulsory. Since just a few years before the scheme changed and I had worked in Different units, Old Records were not available with My Employer, My EPF Pension did not get full benefit of Pension. My EPF Pension was sanctioned less. Instead of my 30years of Service they considered around 8 Years of Service. Since the Payment was a very small amount of Rs 645/- pm. ( Max I could have got Rs 745/-). Since I was not India I could not follow and I accepted whatever was approved.

But I heard that Minimum Pension has been Increased to Rs 1000/- but since April 2002 I am only getting Rs 645/- per month and No increase That also is stopped by Bank who does not keep proper record of Life certificate.

This is My Experience that to get a such a small instalment. It is better to Pay the Individual a lumpsum amount and save a lot of Manpower / Energy wasted in keeping Records, listening and following the complaints etc.

Each Visit to Bank or EPF Office cost me a minimum of Rs 100/-

I will like to Know if there has been increase in Monthly Pension whereas The Govt. announces So many DA Instalments to compensate for dearness to Central Govt Employees.

Is Dearness is for them only not Others...
