By turning a deaf ear or what Swami Anbubhavananda calls it "Adopting selective hearing" and follow the adage "Sticks and stones hurt but words do not". It seems most spouses adopt that when their other-half makes complaints, to avoid unnecessary arguments.

In a working environment, this kind of behavior can be disturbing. You must take this up with the HR in your organization and don't turn blind eye to this. If you do not bring this up to the HR team, this will happen to other colleagues as well. let them handle this with subtle messaging.

Hi, according to me, we must try to sort out our own issues first, so take this as an opportunity to discuss with the person directly. Tell them that you are interested in speaking to them after you finish with one, genuinely give time to that person in private listen what they have to say and reply as a professional. If comments are not acceptable inform them openly, positively give basic etiquette info. If act persist more than two times than consult your HR.
In most of my cases it worked, infact it helped me in securing better place and recognition.
Best Regards.
