Different facets of friendship have been nicely brought out.
To seek pain and difficulty so that the gain and ease
are well appreciated, is thought provoking.
I thought for a while on your footnote on the candle.
"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."
Perhaps there is another aspect often ignored.
A candle may not lose, but it will stand to gain !!
The moment you light the second candle in a dark room,
the first candle is clearly visible from the light of the second candle and viceversa.
As more candles are lit, more candles are visible apart from the fact
that there is more light !!!
Needless to emphasize on the spreading of knowledge and varied thoughts !!
It is not only the knowledge that spreads, the person is also recognized !!!!
