Dear Vasavi,
for getting acquainted with the taxable/non-taxable items in the salary structure, go through the book of Income Tax which gives special emphasis on "Income from salary". you will get such books easily in the book-shops.

Dear Vasa..
You may follow this salary structure also..
The contents of the salary break up is as below, you can prepare it at the suitability of your own.
Basic - 40%
HRA - 50% of Basic
CCA - rs. 825/- as exempted from Taxes
Other Allowance
Medical Allowance of rupees 1250/- exempted from taxes
Mobile Reimbursement / Month
Gross Per Month = Sum of all the above.
Hope now it will be very much clear to you,
if you have any query feel free to ask.

Hi Raghvendra,
Thank u so much for such a nice appreciation..
See.. in my view, if you have done MBA in HR then go with HR profile.. you are in the beginning of your career, so you may get chance to switch.. otherwise after some period of time it will become difficult for you to switch in HR profile..
So, better register yourself with some leading Job portals and with the consultancies even..
Even you can see that so many openings are coming at citehr portal also.. so just contact them.. definitely you will get a good opportunity.
Wish You All D Best..
Regards,
Amit Seth.
