Mr. 28677c5420521383353edc6e , apart from this "Phd in HRM you seems to be interesting,
well that was a good satire and criticism.
people go for phd in one hand to gain the hierarchy, in other to satisfy their thirst. i think here every one are in 1 phase.
your comments please.

@muhurth

Hard to comment & Prejudice that Everyone is in Phase I, but most of them in the learning curve want to join a Rat-Race for sure!!! and win to still be a Rat at the end of the race. But actually you really cannot blame them for sure bcoz in our country the system works like that only. and YES in our Country through right contacts Degrees are Still Available For Sale till date!!!!!!!

I have seen USELESS HR Directors & Managers with MBA Degrees WITHOUT AN IOTA OF WHAT HUMAN RESOURCES OR PHYCHE MEANS! and moreover Company Management are not bothered about their performance as they are pre-occupied with their own things! And when the Wall Street Collapses, Recession is blamed! Why do Companies Pay GIANT SIZE SALARIES to these so called EXPERTS If at the end of the day they cannot ENSURE minimum safety to the company with ALL THEIR BIG DEGREES??????....Why not a company save money by hiring better people instead of better degrees? ...This cud go on n on so i better stop it here......Rgrds Salian S

@ Mohit -
When choosing a subject, it may be a good idea to speak with HR in your company/ companies which you look up to - they would be able to advice you on the trends and developments in HR - and it would be in the area/industry of your interest.

Dear Mohit
You can even opt for Organisation Psychology for Phd, it will not only help you in understanding the people with whom you interact on day to day basis but also you will get a clear roadmap for formulating new policies in your company.Afterall HR is all about dealing with peoples.

Good comments by muhurth and 28677c5420521383353edc6e6 appreciate such frank comments.
Mohit you should have done your ground work properly. Do u want to pursue a Phd or DBA or Professional Doctorate. Your statement is so vague it sounds like a 10th std student who is in a dilemma whether to choose science or arts or commerce in their +2.
Its not easy to do a Phd first understand what it means and secondly do u have a shortlisted university that will approve your application then do u have a guide.
Probably if u have answered these questions then i might be able to suggest you something informative.
