Its absolutely depends on your skills and interest. If you are interested in Technical skills - Go for SAP HR As such Both are goods.

Hi,
My Suggestion: Already you have SAP HR consultant and excellent future, abroad change and more mony and life. Please dont change your carrier. Because no good future in HR and not half life also.
If you get more money, abroad trips, peace ful life please go to SAP HR.
Recent survay no good SAP HR peoples. More opening in SAP HR.

Dear Akhilesh,
It entirely depends on your area of interest and wht you enjoy doing. If you feel that the you want to explore other aspects of HR besides the technical SAP - HR and the position is offering you that you can go for it.
Thanks,

I guess the biggest difference is in the pay structure.......... Usually in the long run SAP HRs would make much more money than an HR generalist just because of the additional technical skills....
And the work is also completely different. As a generalist you can grow towards the business side and SAP would take to as a technical consultant.

Hi Akhilesh,
I am a Senior SAP-HR functional consultant with over 8 years of experience...I would highly recommend to you to go for HR position in MNC since in long term there are more chances for career growth -W.r.t to SAP-HR the only scope is to be Team Lead or Proj Lead whereas in General HR you can grow up to Director or Executive level. Even I am trying to come into General HR field .
You have to make decision .
All the all best ,
