Dear Member,

SAP is a working tool. As per my opinion it should not be considered as separate carrier field.

SAP is vast integrated program which gives multiple outputs to various depts/persons with a single entry or help ease of doing in processing various internal validations, costing, data analysis etc.

SAP has different modules (MMD, Finance, Inventory, HR, Controlling, Texation, Internal Controls etc.).

SAP is just added advantage. Means if you are working in any HR field and have experience in SAP handling and you want to change the job in such case SAP knowledge will be helpful if your future establishment is working on SAP.

But the most important thing, you should have proper knowledge of any specific field like HR, Finance, Marketing, Costing etc. etc.

Senior can suggest more views to the poster.
