Regarding for calculation of gratuity, we have used the below formula. Last salary drawn × 15 days/26 × year of service.
Now can anyone explain why we are using 15 days as default as well as 26 days per month?
Please suggest me.

Dear Mr.Antony Gratuity is a calculation of Total number of Years of Service * Last Drawn Basic+DA*15/26

** Here 15 Stands for Half month pay and 26 Stands for Estimated Working days

Ex. if i completed 11 Years of tenure with 32340 as my basic + DA then it works like this 11*32340*15/26 =205234.61 then you make round off..
