Hi Everyone,
I am Anish working as HR in a private organization. I have joined in the company two months back. During Joining formalities I have asked the employer to continue my Old ESI itself. I did not fill any esi forms at that time. Now I see there are two ESI accounts on my name reflecting in the ESI website. Is there any way that a ESI account can be generated without filling form-1 as I did not submit the form-1. Also please tell me the process to delete my new account so that I can continue with my old account.

Sir, in ESIC most of the the registration work of insured persons is being done online. Therefore, if you are not finding any option in the website of ESIC, you may, in my opinion, contact your concerned Branch Office of ESIC in the matter.

Hi Anish,
As ESIC dept. is working for paperless work, employee not to require fill Form -1, your HR or ESIC consultant generate your Insurance no. through portal. At the time of your joining formalities you should have provide your previous insurance no. to current company then they might be able to continue your same no. and your continuity of the service for ESIC benefit is acceptable.
Then also you can provide your earlier Insurance no. to the current company there is provision to transfer your ESIC contribution to your earlier Ins. No. (It means you can eligible for taking benefits under ESIS Act.)
