Providing food during the extended working hours is a good welfare measure. After working late, it becomes difficult for the bachelors to cook the food after reaching home.
However, the welfare scheme comes with attendant risks also. Once the trend of providing food during the extended stay is established, what if the few smart bachelors or even spinsters stretch their working hours for the sake of food? If the scheme of providing food in the late hours is started, then what about the transport facility for women in the night hours? The demand for it will also follow.
Asking for a policy on a public forum is OK, but weigh in the consequences before you introduce it.
