Dear Respected Seniors, Good Morning ! Please help me to solve a query related to CLRA Act. We are the main contractor and obtaining the license of 110 workers. Now we want to hire sub-contractor. But Principle Employer says that We have to take the RC to give contract to sub-contractor. My question is, Is it possible to take RC if we don't have our premise as we are the contractor ? Is is mandatory to issue Form-V to sub-contractor or a mutual agreement is OK ? Please help me to find these queries. Thank you in advance...

You need not go for a RC.. The Authority will not issue RC for you.. The manpower under your sub vendors should be covered under your license and registers.
Remember the word Principal Employer.. It refers to the client for whom we are doing the job and from whom we are getting paid for those work done.....
Show the definitions (as per CLRA) to your client and advise accordingly..
