Hi,
I am a new member to this group.I have a query for which I am unable to arrive at a solution.
I have nearly 5 yrs of experience in recruitment with 2 yrs in an IT company as a HR executive. Due to some unavoidable circumstances I am supposed to stay back at home atleast for a period of 6 months. My query is, will this affect my career growth. Will I be able to get a similar kind of a job after 6 months when I apply.
Pls let me know.
regards,
Sapna

Sapna,
you can alsways manipulate things a bit by saying you were a homeworker ie insetad of 10 placements every month in a full time job, you were on a profit sharing basis and had 2-3 joinings every month.

Dear Seniors,
I am a new member but need help desperately. I had a everything going in my career for last 6 yrs . I have experience in the insurance and banking sector. Due to some personal and professional reasons, I left my job last year end. I was hoping that with my experience it would not be difficult to find a new job. But almost after 10mnths I still have not got a job of my liking. I have appered for some interviews but nothing materialises because the HR feels that I am not competent beacuse of the gap.
I have even expressed accepted a lower package and place location. But honestly last three experiences have made me feel that the HR only conducts interviews for pasing time and covering up their assignments.
I am facing a huge problem and need some concrete help.
