Hi Santosh,
Human is the most important for any organization, and to get the most appropriate person for the organization HR plays the key role. Hr has to understand the need of the firm and recruit accordingly. The need of the firm keep on changing as per the environment, here the training comes in.
We have to also see that we don't burden the organization with unwanted expenditure, but add to the financial growth, for example by outsourcing peoples which is done in software organization.
Hope it is useful.

Hello Santosh,
Variety of tasks come under HR's purview. As rightly said by Anita above, not only Recruitment but HR dept. is needed to take care of every stumbling block comes in a way of company's growth e.g, Employees lack skillls - Train them; Grievance handling; Employee retention by way of welfare facilties and employee engagement activities; Formulate policies & procedures to observe discipline among employees and so on.
Hope I have answered your query, but look forward for our Senior's valuable opinions.

Hi Santoshamar,

Todays era is of automation and information. We have everything available so easy, that at times we sit and wonder, why use conventional method. However, when the modern method fail, conventional methods help us solve problem. One day-to-day example: We have all the advanced feature in a microwave oven that we can cook almost everything, and yet note that if there is electricity failure, we would have raw food to ourselves. Our conventional Chulha/gas stove would help in those time.

No matter we have all HR Software easily available in the market, it would still be a software/machine. It would not have a human aspect to it. The most important resource that a company thrives on is HUMAN. Again to cite an example, you have a kitchen with the world's best facilities and modern equipments and all the ingredients available and you don't know cooking. So inspite of having every other resource, you can't achieve your goal (of cooking food) unless you have a human expert (cook) who would work towards it.

An HR is needed in any organization who would not only understand the current working of the organization but would also suggest strategies. In today's time, HR people are also considered as strategic partners (however, they got to prove them their importance). HR is not only about regulating attendance or calculating the salaries; it is also about engaging your people to your organization, motivating and committing them, ensuring they are the referrals for the company. There are various other important Human aspect to HR that a machine cannot fulfill.

Again why HR expert and not just any human is because, not everyone knows the technical knowledge of HR. Just like you need a finance expert for financial consulting and a Marketing expert for your marketing strategising, You'd need an HR expert for human consulting.

Hope I've answered your question. And I never meant to be rude or harsh. Apologies if I sounded so.

All the best :)
