I need your ideas on Spot Award Scheme as a method for Employee Rewards and Recognition…. I need to know what kind of awards can be given and how to go about with it.
Also need to know how to make a proposal for the fun and welfare activities along with the Budget.

The purpose of Rewards and Recongition is to motivate employees......For that we are starting with spot awards... now this is to acknowledge and demonstarte immediate and spontaneous appreciation for the contributioon of individuals.
The question was how practically do it... how to work out the budget... and the forms etc....how many awards for each department... or have limited awards with hr... who will distribute it...
In the welfare activity... i wanted to know some different activites which can be done... again with the budget and pratically how to implement it. Something which help team building and make employees familiar with each other.... some games or activites where we can get to know some different talent in our employees and perhaps use it to the benefit of the organisation.
For all this i need the help of all our seniors.... Hope i have made myself very clear... in what i am looking for....

Rewards and Recognitions does not actually need a very high budget.
I can give you a few egs of reward that we have in our organisation.
1. For the guys who are calling (telecaller) we have stars placed on their workstation if we notice that the call they are making is fantastic.
2. For the field guys we have special badges made
3. to bring the best performer to the notice of all in the organisation we have a hi- 5 notice board, wher their name and accomplishments are displayed.
4. We also have certificates (made on PPT)These are distributed by the top boss of that dept.
5. If you want to giove something on monetary level, gift coupons are a good idea.
