As per the agreed terms 60days is my notice period which expires today and my relieving date is today i.e.15th October 2013. But my management is not relieving me till such time they find a replacement for me. My new employer is also putting pressure on me. Dear Member,
This is a common problem now a days that employer does not relieve an employee on promising date. 60 days are enough to find a replacement.
If this continues for a longer time, your future employer may lose an interest in you and may hire someone else.
In this case, please wait for this week. If things do not improve, then you may have a discussion with your HR/Immediate Supervisor. In worse case, you can also schedule a meeting with your company's CEO/Board of Director.
Meanwhile, send a mail to your HR to relieve you by this week, keep your current employer and future employer in CC. So, they can also be aware about your situation.
Thanks & Regards,
