In our plant we are having two 30KL Diesal Storrage Tank ... This is the only installtions where the chnces of generation of static electricity extisting in our plant as per my understanding...
1. Hence what all safety precautions we have to ensure in the diseal storrage area?
2. What all precautions to be taken while unloading the diesal from tanker to the storage tank?
3. What all precautions to be taken while pouring the diseal into the vehicles from the pumping station?

hope it will gv u some idea -
All storage of flamable materials should be as per NFPA regulations.
FL Extinguish media.
there are no fires, open flames, or open lights, NO SMOKING and NO LOITERING signs, grounding cable must be connected, Cleanup procedure of Spills.
flamable material segrgation n separation and must have TREMP CARD with tankar.
* vehicle shutoff
* tankar proper earthing
* switch off mobils
* spil/colection kit
* all equipment should be flamproof in pumping station n storage area
extinguish media as per materials.
