In the above posting no details on deductions and savings incorporated.
As per an annual income of 36500x12 = Rs. 4,38,000, details of tax affected are
Upto 200000, no tax applicable. For balance 238000, Income tax = 23800.
Cess @ 3%, 23800x3% = 714
Total Income Tax = 23800+714 =24514

Dear Abbas
Please gothrough the attachment. There are few componants where an employee gets the income but he will be using it which is a tax exemption and tax will be calculated on net income which is nothing but deductions.
Eg: Medical reimburssement 1250 * 12 = 15000; Convayance 800 * 12 = 7200; HRA 40 % on Basic or as per City restrictions, Children Tution fee, Professional tax 200 * 12 = 2400, PF Employee deduction if you minus all these from gross then net Income will come in that deduct 100000 savings, 200000 Govt Exemption, then you will get taxable income.

Yes, I agree with you that there are some deductions admissible. But as it is not provided, we cannot account it as vague. Abbas.P.S
