The word "Training" has been outdated for over a decade now as more responsibilty anf owness has put over individuals. Tradotional training was when a trainer stood in front of an audience and "told" them stuff.
Learning can be done without a trainer..ie through coaching, mentoring, shadowing, experimenting, e-learning, reading manuals, web searches etc etc.
