Default Compensation and Benefits:please help

Dear Seniors,

Can you please tell me what does it mean when someone is talking about employee compensation and benefits.If the HR-Manager of an IT company was told to look after the compensation and benefits what he should actually look after. Kindly give me an idea.let me know what the benefits includes and what is the compensation all about.

Please let me know keeping in mind if the company is an IT services company.

These are the few things which forms the part of Compensation and Benefit in any organisation.

2. Forecasting salary increase with the similiar industry
3.Participated in the salary survey
4.Comparision the salary survey report with their own industry
5.Projecting the salary hike and financial impact
6.Find out the financial impact wherever the necessary
7.Taking care of compliances
8.Flex plan benefits comparison as per compliance
