Dear Members,

The State of UP and NCT of Delhi has also revised their minimum rates of wages form April 01, 2014, which are as under:-

REVISED MINIMUM RATES OF WAGES WITH VDA IN NCT OF DELHI w.e.f. 1-4-2014
Unskilled 8554.00
Semi Skilled 9438.00
Skilled 10374.00
Non Matriculates 9438.00
Matriculates but not Graduates 10374.00
Graduates and above 11310.00

REVISED MINIMUM RATES OF WAGES WITH VDA IN UTTAR PRADESH w.e.f. 1-4-2014 TO 30.9.2014
Unskilled 6362.26
Semi Skilled 6998.49
Skilled 7839.42

We need to wait for the Govt notification from both the states.

Hi,

When state min wages for a category is lower than the central min wages as per the attached notification, which one has to be followed...?

Please clarify as many of the min wages is less in our state in comparison with central min wages...
