Hi,

There is no set pattern used for the purpose, however, you can use the following format:

"Consequent upon the acceptance of the resignation from the post of ------------------------------------ wef. -----------------------date-----------, of Mr ----------------------S/O Mr -------------------------

is hereby relieved of his service in this organisation wef ----------------------.

The following terminal dues are hereby tendered to Mr ------------------which he may collect from ---------------------------------office of this organisation on any day hereafter:

1. Salary for the period from--------------------to -------------------: Rs.......................

2. Unavailed leave Rs.......................

3.Other items (please elucidate as per rules of your company) Rs.................

Or you may send/handover a cheque covering issues under reference and require him to send an acknowledgement or accept the same on the office copy of the letter.

Signatue of the competent authority of your organisation with date and seal

I hope this helps you.

Thanks alot Sir,
The information was definitely helpful but would just like clarify more on my query.
I am actually looking for format as in the various heads that come in settlement like salary Details, Additions, Deduction, Recovery, Total amount to be paid from Employer side/Employee side and the various "Particulars" that would come under the respective headings. An excel format of this in which the final settlement amount is calculated.
