Sir plz solve my queries as earliest
1) Difference between workmen or employee in respect of compensation Act 1923?
2) Sealing limit is increase (Rs8000/-) in Employee Compensation act 1923?
3) An Engineer is died, during course of employment on age of 28 and his monthly income is 1 lakh.
a) Is Engineer will cover in Employee Compensation act 1923?
b) What should be the compensation amount?
c) Is there any sealing limit
d) How can we reduce the compensation amount?

Please note the followings. Hope those will satisfy your quarries.
• In the year of 2009 the Workmen’s Compensation Act 1923 has been amended. Wherever “Workman” or “ workmen” is mentioned in the entire act the same needs to read as “Employee”.
• As per Sec 1(3) all employees irrespective of their status or salaries either directly or through contractor or a person required to work abroad will be covered under the act.
• As he died at the age of 28 and the max limit is Rs.8000/-, therefore his Compensation amount will be Rs.847160+5000(For Funeral exp)=Rs.852160/-
