Dear Seniors,,
My name is Sarita, I run my own consultancy. It\'s been two months however till now no candidates have been joined with our clients. Lots of issues are coming like mostly candidates don\'t turn up for interviews, and some who turned up not got selected and those who selected, don\'t join. And finally till now no candidate is there who has joined. So please guide what can I do in these conditions..
Thanks & Regards,
Sarita Sharma

Hi

You have partly identified the issues due to which you are facing your current problem. However you would have to analyze the data in more detail to draw more clear inferences about the issues you have identified. eg. what is the profile of the candidate who do not turn up for interviews, is there some correlation between the candidate profile and job profile where candidates do not take up the offer, is there a major disconnect between the job offer and the existing market offerings etc. This will give you a better understanding of the more intricate details of real issues and perhaps enable you to rework your strategies.

As your venture is relatively new you would also have to reconcile to the fact that it will take time, effort and a series of hits and misses before you can stabilize the operations and grow. What is imperative is that you continue to persist while at the same time keep studying the progress and making suitable adjustments till you find the right mix in sustaining, stabilizing and then growing the business.

Best Wishes

Dear Sarita
The areas that you have identified and the challenges that most of us face. The only solution is to keep a back-up and constantly remain in touch with the candidates.
However, value someone's choice not to work ahead as agreed earlier. If it doesn't work with one firm, the talent still remain open for other firms.

Hello Sarita Sharma,
As pointed out by our fellow senior colleagues please have a relook at the process.
It will reveal some hidden areas and they will be areas of improvement on your side.
It is a passing phase, given the present conditions of slow growth.
You may surf in Cite HR and also in other sites to know about CASE STUDIES that fits the present situation.
It is very valuable to learn from others experience.
Learning will also keep you busy and enrich your own job profile.

Hi Saritha,
These are common things into recruitment anyway i am trying to find out few reasons why the candidates are not turn up to the interviews after the interview had been scheduled.
1. The Image of organization shows the impact where they are going to have interivew.
2. If candidates have experience they may not have time to have interiview because of their busy sechedule or else unpridectuble works from management.
3. The way of treating or the style of working where they have been selected.
Any i want appriciate that your running your own organization being female.
