It is meant for Tamil Nadu only.

Thanks Sundar .In fact the list was published in the Tamilnadu Newspapers after it was out in Cite HR.It was Breaking News really.

26th Jan Republic Day
15th Aug Independence Day
1st May - Labour Day (but not observed by Central Government! Strange)

Dear all,

Can anyone tell is there any delivery note required for submitting the Holidays list 2012 to the Labour Office. Our organisation is located in Porur which comes under jurisdiction of st.thomas mount labour office.

Initially we submit the original to them and get acknowledge in the photo copy. but this time they insisting to bring the 40page delivery note to acknowledge.

Is it compulsion or not...

your suggestions required.

Can anyone let me know what is the minimum no. of listed holidays as per tamilnadu shops and establishments act ? Under which section the same has been mentioned?
