PF WITHDRAWAL RULE - Family Pension Scheme

vijayrawat01 Started The Discussion:

Hi,

I am still confused, can anyone tell me that if I withdraw PF amount after completion of 3 years continue service. In that case can I withdraw Family Pension Scheme (FPS) amount too. I heard that in this case I will be entitled to withdraw the PF amount only (12%+3.67%=15.67%). Please clarify/help, I am afraid to heard that I have to complete 10 years continue contribution in PF Account to withdraw my FPS amount too otherwise the same shall be forfeited and I will get only 15.67% amount of 24%.

Regards

Dear VIJAY RAWAT,
First of all you note down that after claiming you EPF accumulation after completion of 3 yrs. of service you can get full amount i.e (12%+3.67%)+ intrest rate + 8.33% (EPS accumulation), the fps amount will only be forfeited if the contribution if the contribution of accumulation is less than of 180 days or 6 months. If the contribution is of accumulation is completed for 10 years then amount goes to scheme and will be paid in form of pension after completion of 58 yrs. of age.
thanks & regards,
