Dear Seniors ,
After a long time I came with New question/query.
Q.: As per Statutory kindly list out/guide Electrical safety for
Mfg. factory .
e.g By this Rules --- Record required
By this Rules --- This test frequency should be twice in year etc.
By this rule --- PPE type
By this rule --- training req.
By this rule ---- Qualification
etc...

Dear Sir,
The query you have asked will be cleared by the IE RULES 1956. However you may refer rule 46,rule 63.
If you are getting power from TNEB then maintaining power factor above 0.95 is mandatory.
Periodical testing of transformer oil. earth pits, lightening arrestors , HT ;LT panel testing,etc to be maintained.
c certifcate , B certificate holders for power connected works.
If you have men lift periodical testing also to betaken care of.
Training requirements for power plants personals were given as annexure in the said rule.
