Hi,
I have resigned from my previous company on September first week and planning to go out of country for an year. How can I withdraw the PF amount now (or atleast apply for it) since Payroll guys are asking me to wait for 60 days and then apply for withdrawl, but in this case it will be not be possible since i have to be in another country at that time.
Also can u please let me know if i can change the bank account to which the withdrawl should be credited since the salary bank account is asking me to maintain 1 lakh as the balance.

No problem,srikanth. You can apply in Form 19 and 10C (forms can be downloaded from website epfindia.nic.in) and send the same to pf office through your present employer immediately by enclosing a covering letter requesting to settle the claim as you are leaving for foreign country and attach copies of your passport details and visa details.
you will get the money to the bank which you mention in the claim.

Thanks Ram for your reply. I have also heard yesterday that if I withdraw PF amount before 5 years, I'll lose 33.3% tax and if it is after 5 years there won't be any tax deduction. Is this true?

In my pf withdraw form, i have mentioned my saving bank ac details but in my UAN portal my previous employer salary bank ac details are mentioned. Is it mandatory to provide same bank details to withdraw pf
