Dear Sulekha,
If your organisations has not given any performance benefits and motivational benefits this is the right time to do. But sure you need to spend some good money to have your centenary celebrations go very happy and cool.
Let me give some suggestions on this:
1. Keep some Games between the employees (Physical)
2. Keep some management games :D
3. Review the Projects done by various employees and give them some prizes.
4. Have a rational measurement on the employees and give some gifts as an token of their service and centenary celebrations through your management.
5. Ask the employee about the happy moments in they had in the organisations. Collect them and relase them as the booklet.
6. If you have a nice IT Department ask them to participate actively and give some online web applications over intranet.
Hope this would suffice.
Just be innovative that would do.
Regards

many thanks for your response...
we have Balance score card in a place and its happening very effectively.
your idea on Reviewing the Projects done by various employees which have contributed to our success and giving gifts to our key people as token of their service sounds really interesting.
and yes sharing the happy moments our people had in the organisations. in our inhouse magazine will be great too...
thanks again
