Default Annual increment of salary trend in india

HI,

Can anu one provide the percentage of annual increment of the salary in india.

Normally the companies with good turn over pay 20-30% depends upon grades of employees

Hi Trupti,

as jaipal said u can followthe same.

and increament should be given as per benchmarking with other companies of same designation, performance, self learning, with current project objects and future project worth and importance. even u can provied 100% also hike. that is the proposal by u to the management regarding employee and data given by HOD's

Hi,
Well if you see the trend of the Last year it goes as follows
Minimum = 12%
Average = 15%
Maximum = 20% (+2% ~ 5% additional for top performers)

Hope it will suffice the objective....

If we were to look at salary increments of 2008, don't you think the average hike has come down to 8-9% due to recession?

Salary hike of the year 2008-09 will be depend on recession rate. may be gone down.
